Bright lemon, fresh dill, and crunchy celery and onion make this tuna salad an easy win for lunch or a snack. Pile it on your favorite sandwich or scoop it with crispy crackers.
Ingredients
- ½ cup celery, diced
- ⅓ cup red onion, diced
- 2 tbsp dill (or dried dill weed)
- 1 lemon, juiced
- ¼ tsp lemon zest
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- ⅓ cup mayo
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 cans of your favorite tuna
Steps
- To a bowl, add the 4 cans of tuna, celery, onion, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- In a separate bowl, add the mayo, Dijon mustard, and dill. Stir until smooth.
- Combine the two bowls. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Enjoy on your favorite sandwich for lunch — also great with a crispy cracker as a snack.
Notes
- Dill: Fresh or dried both work — use what you have on hand.
- Make-ahead: Keeps well in the fridge for a couple of days; stir before serving.
