Bright lemon, fresh dill, and crunchy celery and onion make this tuna salad an easy win for lunch or a snack. Pile it on your favorite sandwich or scoop it with crispy crackers.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup celery, diced
  • ⅓ cup red onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp dill (or dried dill weed)
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ¼ tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ⅓ cup mayo
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 cans of your favorite tuna

Steps

  1. To a bowl, add the 4 cans of tuna, celery, onion, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  2. In a separate bowl, add the mayo, Dijon mustard, and dill. Stir until smooth.
  3. Combine the two bowls. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Enjoy on your favorite sandwich for lunch — also great with a crispy cracker as a snack.

Notes

  • Dill: Fresh or dried both work — use what you have on hand.
  • Make-ahead: Keeps well in the fridge for a couple of days; stir before serving.
  • Serve with: Sandwich bread, lettuce wraps, or crackers and a lemon wedge.
